长期以来,中国女性一直处于男权的统治之下,美术领域同样如此,女性画家大多命运坎坷,难以在作品中自由的抒发心声。然而在当代中国,涌现了相当数量、有相当影响的女性油画家,她们以女性的视角观察世界,以富有女性特质的艺术语言表达自身感受,她们的作品极大地丰富了中国当代油画艺术的面貌。女性意识的崛起构成了中国当代油画艺术的重要特征。
For a long time, Chinese women have always been under the patriarchal domination. The same is true in the art field. Most female painters have a hard life and are hard pressed to express their feelings freely in their works. However, in contemporary China, a considerable number of influential female oil painters emerge. They observe the world from the perspective of women and express their feelings in the artistic language with feminine qualities. Their works have greatly enriched the contemporary Chinese oil painting art . The rise of female consciousness constitutes an important feature of contemporary Chinese oil painting.
