To improve the quality of life in urban communities, a heavy burden falls on planners, designers and constructors who build and maintain underground facilities. The underground structure in the urban area is very crowded. It is very hard to change the existing pipelines without affecting other facilities. In addition, improvements in the upper part of these underground facilities will make the maintenance, replacement or expansion of older pipelines expensive. Improvements on the ground such as greenery, utility cellars, sidewalks, buildings and railways will make it very difficult and expensive to access the underground facilities by grooving. Slotting method interrupts traffic and destroys the earth’s surface and requires a substantial investment of funds to restore it to its original condition.
