来自孟加拉的一个水稻品种“Biplab”,在1974年雨季国际水稻产量试验的18个试点中,产量最高(见表1)。来自斯里兰卡的品种“BG90—2”,在1974—1975年旱季8个点的试验中,产量居首位(见表2)。来自印度、印度尼西亚、泰国和哥伦比亚的某些品种在试验中也是突出的。国际水稻研究所调整国际水稻试验计划。这对于水稻科学工作者在多种多样的不同条件下,鉴定全世界的材料提供条件,以利加速选育适合当地的改良品种。
Biplab, a rice variety from Bangladesh, produced the highest yield among 18 pilots tested in the 1974 rainy season International Rice Production (Table 1). The breed “BG90-2” from Sri Lanka tops production at the 8-point drought season in 1974-1975 (see table 2). Certain varieties from India, Indonesia, Thailand and Colombia are also highlighted in the trials. International Rice Research Institute adjusts international rice pilot program. This will provide rice scientists with the opportunity to identify the world’s materials under a wide variety of different conditions in order to speed the selection of improved varieties suitable for the area.
