Introduction The pilot project of Meitan in Guizhou Province, as one of the 10 pilot sites for the first batch of national tea tree planting areas, undertook the task of regional experimentation of 10 varieties provided by Sichuan Tea Research Institute and Guizhou Tea Research Institute in 1987. Through the district test appraisal, to provide a reliable basis for the declaration of national varieties, for the above varieties
