On June 8, 2004, Zhao Huayong, director of the Central Television Station, met with eight television representatives led by the head of German television station Marcus. Director Zhao Huayong briefed the guests on the programs broadcast by CCTV and channel construction, praised the initiative of the German side to sign the project very well and fully demonstrated our sincerity in implementing the agreement and cooperation. The guests from the German side deeply admire the rapid development of our TV broadcasting business and hope to strengthen the substantive cooperation between the two parties before the 2008 Olympic Games and consolidate and develop the friendly cooperation.
