In commemoration of the 90th anniversary of Comrade Mao Zedong, a great Marxist, the CPC Central Party History Research Institute and the National Research Conference of the CPC's CPC History convened the National Mao Zedong Thought Symposium and the National Conference on the History of the People's Republic of China in Nanning, Guangxi from November 5 to November 15, 1983 The 4th Annual Conference of the Party History Research Society. This time, there are more than 500 people, including revolutionary old comrades, prominent scholars in the party history, and party history teaching and research workers attended by more than 500 participants. Both of them are serious and lively. The symposium fully and correctly commented on the great contribution made by Comrade Mao Zedong in the Chinese revolution, and highlighted and affirmed Mao Zedong Thought as our party's guiding ideology and our most precious spiritual asset.
