从光纤的时域波形求光纤带宽的严格方法是利用计算机的 FFT(快速富里叶变换)运算,而传统的高斯波形近似公式 B=0.44/τ之可信度又比较差。本文提出了用逐次迭代进行数值积分从光纤的时域波形计算带宽的方法,该方法适合一切实际形状的波形,不通过计算机就可进行。其结果同用 FFT 运算得到的结果进行了比较,一般只需迭代几次便能得到满意的结果。
The strict method of finding the bandwidth of an optical fiber from the time-domain waveform of an optical fiber utilizes a computer FFT (Fast Fourier Transform) operation, and the traditional Gaussian waveform approximation formula B = 0.44 / τ has relatively poor reliability. This paper presents a method of calculating the bandwidth from time-domain waveforms of optical fibers by successive iterations of numerical integration, which is suitable for all waveforms of actual shapes and can be performed without a computer. The result is compared with the result obtained by the FFT operation, and the result is usually satisfied only by iterating several times.
