安徽省阜阳市原市长肖作新在短短17个月内,夫妇俩共敛财2000万人民币,平均日进4万。前不久,法院对肖作新、周继美夫妇重大职务犯罪作出判决。法院认定肖作新夫妇受贿人民币118万元,美金0.2万元,港币5万元,分别判决二人无期徒刑和死缓;另有人民币1223万元、美金1.4万元、港币8.3万元的巨额财产来源不明,分别判处有期徒刑5年。决定执行无期徒刑和死缓。
