State Seismological Bureau, Ministry of Science and Technology Monitoring Division organized by the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Ministry of Science, National Earthquake Administration consultant Ding Guoyu as the leader of 12 seismic geology expert group at home and abroad. They traveled more than 7000Rm on August 5-19, 1988, conducting field investigation on the Altyn Tagh fault zone and on-site inspection and acceptance.
