科学的发展越快,人生自我的空间越小,对世界的敏感越迟钝,古代的生活如看走马灯,现代的生活如看万花筒。科学越发展,物质生活职业生活愈分化,社会愈复杂,个人越多受多元化的束缚,内心越来越禁闭,心胸也越来越不开阔,艺术的创作格局也越来越小。艺术文化相对于古代是越来越退步了。当代艺术就是处在一个这样的尴尬境地。
The faster the development of science, the smaller the space for self-life and the less sensitive to the world. The ancient life looks like a lantern and the modern life looks like a kaleidoscope. The more developed the science is, the more divided the professional life of the material life is. The more complicated the society, the more the individual is bound by pluralism, the more and more he is confined in his heart, the more his mind is broadened, and the less creative his art is. Art culture is more and more backward compared to ancient times. Contemporary art is in such an awkward position.
