在1964年的最后两个月,比利时所受到的通貨膨脹的压力稍稍緩和下来;尽管指数表上还看不出最后的分曉,普遍的印象却是:商业循环已經到达或者接近頂峰。1964年工資的增加估計为8.5％,物价的上升估計为4.5％。工資水准的上升,同前年相应季度此較起来,虽然在第三季度达到了10％的最高数字,现在大家认为:上升的压力在工业方面显然較少,尽管在公共事业方面还不是如此。大家在目前也都认为:物价問題不怎么严重了。
In the last two months of 1964, the pressure on inflation in Belgium was moderated slightly. Although the index did not reach its final conclusion, the general impression was that the business cycle had reached or was at its peak. The increase in wages was estimated at 8.5% in 1964 and the price increase was estimated at 4.5%. While wage levels have risen, in comparison with the corresponding quarter of the previous year, although the highest figure of 10% was reached in the third quarter, it is now assumed that the upward pressure is clearly less on the industrial side, although this is not the case in the public utilities. At the moment, everyone also thinks that the price issue is not so serious.
