OBJECTIVE: To investigate the role of “sleeve-in” anastomosis in the esophagogastric neck in preventing anastomotic leakage and stenosis. Methods: The “△” shaped stomach wall tissue was cut off at the highest point of the tubular stomach wall so that its caliber was larger than the diameter of the esophageal residual port. Place the anastomosis into the stomach cavity. Results: Twenty patients with esophagogastric neck anastomosis were completed by this method. No anastomotic leakage or anastomotic stenosis occurred. Conclusion: The “sleeve-in” anastomosis of the esophagogastric and cervical canal has a good effect on prevention of anastomotic leakage, anastomotic stenosis and anti-reflux.
