久经考验的共产主义战士、著名戏剧教育家、作家、第六届全国政协常委、全国文联委员、中国戏剧家协会副主席李伯钊同志,因患心肌梗塞,于1985年4月17日在北京逝世,终年七十四岁。李伯钊同志是我党我军文艺宣传工作的开拓者之一。她于1926年赴莫斯科中山大学学习,1930年回国,1931年春进入闽西革命根据地,在中央苏区,她先后担任中央红军学校政治教员、《红色中华》编辑、高尔基戏剧学校校长、中央苏维埃政府教育部艺术局局长。1934年她参加了举世闻名的二万五千里长征。延安时期,她参加了毛泽东同志主持召开的延安文艺座谈会,任中央党校文艺工作研究室主任。入城后,历任北京市文委书记、文联副主席、文教局副局长、北京人民艺术剧院院长、中央戏剧学院副院长、党委书记等职。她一生从事党的文艺宣传工作,从二十年代参加进步话剧的演出,到终前依然在修改她的革命回忆录,她似一只春蚕,为人民吐尽最后一口丝。
Well-tested communist fighter, famous drama educator and author, Comrade Li Po-chiu, member of the Standing Committee of the 6th CPPCC National Committee and member of the National Federation of Literary and Art Circles, and vice chairman of the Chinese Dramatists Association, died of a heart attack in Beijing on April 17, 1985 Year-round seventy-four years old. Comrade Li Po-chiu is one of the trailblazers in our literature and art propaganda work of our party and our army. She went to Sun Yat-sen University in Moscow in 1926 and returned to China in 1930. She entered the revolutionary base area of Minxi in the spring of 1931 and served as political instructor for the Central Red Army School, editor in chief of Red China, president of the Gorky Theater School, and government of the Central Soviet Government Department of Arts Director. In 1934 she participated in the world-famous twenty-five thousand miles Long March. During the Yanan period, she participated in the Yan’an Literature and Art Symposium hosted by Comrade Mao Zedong and was director of the Literature and Art Research Center of the Central Party School. After entering the city, he served successively as Secretary of the Beijing Municipal Commission of Literature, Vice Chairman of the Federation of Literary and Art Circles, Deputy Director of the Culture and Education Bureau, Dean of the Beijing People’s Art Theater, Vice President of the Central Academy of Drama, Secretary of the Party Committee. She has been engaged in literary and art propaganda work of the party for a lifetime. Since her performance in the progressive drama in the 1920s, she is still amending her revolutionary memoir. She is like a spring silkworm, making her the last word for the people.
