《美国在心中》是著名的菲律宾裔美国多产作家卡洛斯·布洛桑的代表作,这部自传体小说描述了作者的亲身经历,从家乡菲律宾的痛苦童年到后来的美国生活,已被誉为亚裔美国文学中的经典之作。本文通过对该作品叙事策略的解读,分析了《美国在心中》在精神化、政治化和理念化三位一体的叙述模式中向读者展现了一段在苦难经历中身体坚韧且精神丰富的生活。
“America in the Heart” is the famous representative of the prolific Filipino-American prolific writer Carlos Blosson, an autobiographical novel that describes the author’s personal experience from the painful childhood in her hometown of the Philippines to her later American life and has been hailed as A classic in Asian American literature. Through the narration of this narrative strategy, this article analyzes the “American in Mind” trilogy model of spiritualization, politicization and conceptualization, which presents the reader with a tough and energetic life in a difficult experience.
