1968年出生于北京密云县大城子镇王各庄村,1985年考入北京密云农民技术学校(现更名为北京经贸学院分院)学习果林专业。后又在农村干部管理学院进修。1987年分配到大城子镇镇政府工作,先后做过打字员,广播员,团委副书记。1991年开始从事妇联工作,2002年调入古北口镇任副镇长至今。主抓文教卫生,民政,计划生育工作(以下简称计生)。她在推动计生工作的同时,把农村妇女的生殖健康检查落到实处,大大减少和降低了妇女的妇科发病率。
