福建省宁化县为进一步加强村级班子的建设,充分发挥村党支部和村委会的作用,从去年初开始,在取得横锁、安远等乡进行公开竞选村干部试点经验后,又在27个村公开竞选村干部,选出村主要干部46人。经过半年多的实践表明,把竞争机制引入村干部的选拔任用中,对加强村级班子建设,增强农村党员、干部、村民竞争意识,推进基层民主政治进程,促进农村商品经济发展是一条切实有效的途径。他们的主要做法是:
