宋代文化史研究的意义,我想是无 容置疑,也是不劳多说的,现在的问题是怎样有效地进行。说是“有效”,我的意思是要避免文化史研究中极易产生的空对空的现象。文化本来是一个相当宽泛的概念,我们如果不从一个个具体的课题着手进行研究,就很容易过了若干年,热闹了一阵,回过头来一看还是停留在原来的起点上。
The significance of the research on the history of cultural history in the Song Dynasty is, I think, incontrovertible and unprofitable. The question now is how to proceed effectively. To say “effective”, I mean to avoid the phenomenon of air-to-air that can easily arise in the study of cultural history. Culture was a rather broad concept. If we did not start research on a specific topic, it would be quite easy for us to go live for a number of years, and after a while, we will return to our original starting point.
