联合会际岩石圈委员会(ICL)最近开始实行一项新的全球性大断面计划。最近己用模拟来研究北美大陆-大洋大断面计划,着重研究从大洋到大陆的构造变化以及在过去700万年中每条六断面带的演化。这项计划的先进性在于促使地质学家和地球物理学家的资料结合。
The Joint Intercontinental Lithosphere Commission (ICL) recently embarked on a new global large-scale program. Recent simulations have been used to study North American continent-ocean major section plans, focusing on tectonic changes from the oceans to the mainland and the evolution of each six-section zone over the past seven million years. The advanced nature of this project is to bring together the data of geologists and geophysicists.
