香港由于地方小,出版资源相当贫乏,对外寻找出版资源一直是香港从事大众出版的同仁十分重视的工作。而香港政府对市民外出完全没有限制,这种自由进出的出入境制度,亦为出版人进行国际交流提供了莫大的方便。笔者长期从事实用类图书出版,由于这类题材相对来讲,国外的出版物仍比大中华圈的强,因此比较早便将目光投向世界图书市场,特别是出版业发达的欧美国家及日本。在寻寻觅觅的过程中,个人觉得法兰克福书展应该是有志于出版业者值得朝圣的地方,因此这篇小文准备以此为焦点,谈谈笔者多年来参展的一些体会,供新进的同道们参考。
Due to the small size of localities and the relative lack of resources for publishing, the search for resources for publication outside Hong Kong has always been a work of great importance to those who engage in mass publication in Hong Kong. However, the Hong Kong Government has absolutely no restrictions on the public going out. This system of free entry and exit also offers great convenience to the international exchange of publications. Since I have been engaged in the publication of practical books for a long time, foreign publications are still stronger than those in the Greater China Circle. As a result, I have been paying attention to the book market in the world earlier, especially in the developed Europe, the United States and Japan. In the search for the process, I personally think that the Frankfurt Book Fair should be interested in publishing industry is worth pilgrimage place, so this article is prepared to focus on this, I talk about some of the author for many years exhibitors, for newcomers reference.
