类风湿关节炎是常见关节炎病之一,它会导致关节疼痛、肿大、僵硬和无力,严重影响人们的生活质量。近日,荷兰阿姆斯特丹学术医疗中心,对一位女性类风湿性关节炎患者植入电子起搏器。该起搏器能把电脉冲输送到神经系统,将大脑信号传递给重要器官,以治疗类风湿关节炎。植入电子装置6个星期之内疼痛就消失,红肿消退,并能骑自行车,能开车,还能出去遛狗。这一治疗方法可治愈多年严重的关节炎。将成为类风湿关节炎患者的福音。
