一种好的超声波水下观测设备是声信号和水声场的有机结合。为了研究水声场中河水自然噪声,声传播特性以及声源级衰减损失等参数的规律,一九八四年六月十四日在昌化江青河殿河段首次进行了江河水声物理参数测试,取得了在几种不同流速、水深条件下的河水自然噪声谱级,声传播不同距离上的波形畸变,130 KHz声波在不同距离上的衰减损失以及电缆、导流罩对声波衰减的影响等有价值的水声场资料,为设计超声波水下观测设备时合理选择频率、信噪比,进行阻抗匹配、确定功率等提供了可靠的科学依据。
