在十七届中央纪委六次全会上,胡锦涛总书记深刻阐述了把以人为本、执政为民贯彻落实到党风廉政建设和反腐败斗争之中的重要性、紧迫性以及总体要求、工作重点。新形势下,要深入开展党风廉政建设和反腐败斗争,进一步密切党同人民群众的血肉联系,巩固党的执政基础,必须牢固树立以人为本、执政为民的理念,增强责任感和使命感。
At the Sixteenth Plenary Session of the 17th Central Commission for Discipline Inspection, General Secretary Hu Jintao profoundly expounded the importance and urgency as well as the overall requirements and priorities of implementing people-oriented and governing for the people in the party’s work style and building an honest and clean government and fighting corruption. Under the new situation, we must further develop the Party’s style of building a clean and honest government and the fight against corruption. To further cement the flesh-blood ties between the party and the masses and consolidate the party’s governing foundation, we must firmly establish the concept of “people-oriented and governing for the people” and enhance our sense of responsibility and mission.
