巍巍武当山驰名海内外,百里汽车城名扬全世界。在这块古老而神奇的土地上,新绽了一朵耀眼的杏林奇葩。这就是以中医为主、中西医结合、专科特色突出的十堰市中医院。一十堰市中医院的前身是原郧阳地区中医院。在蹒跚走过18年之后,到1994年郧阳地区中医院几乎濒临倒闭。1995年7月17日,随着地、市行政区划的合并,原地、市两家中医院于这一天正式合并为新的十堰市中医院。特别是以李先庆院长为首的新一届领导班子的诞生,为中医院摆脱困境、快速发展注入了勃勃生机。

The predecessor of the Shiyan City Chinese Medicine Hospital is the former Liyang Regional Hospital. After 18 years of squatting, in 1994, the Chinese Hospital of Fuyang District was almost closed down. On July 17, 1995, with the merger of the administrative divisions of the city and the city, the two local hospitals, the local government and the municipality, formally merged into the new Shiyan City Hospital. In particular, the birth of the new leadership team headed by Dean Li Xianqing has injected great vitality into Chinese hospitals’ escape from difficulties and rapid development.
