前列腺肥大是老年男性常见病之一,对于这一疾病的治疗不外乎内分泌激素治疗和前列腺切除术;前者疗效往往不够理想且有一定的付作用;后者常因患者年迈合并有心、肺、肾功能不全和因患者经济状况而受到一定限制。我院从一九八○年六月至一九八二年五月在外地经验的基础上根据本院的具体情况,对25例前列腺肥大并尿潴留患者施行了睾丸切除术,经临床观察和随访,认为效果良好,现报告如下: 一、临床分析年龄:本组年龄最小者62岁,最大者78岁,70岁以上者有19例。病程:1至5年14例,5年以上8例,3例不详。入院时情况:68％的病例系急性尿潴留住院,约有1/3的病例曾在门诊或外院经过导尿和内分泌激素治疗。慢性尿潴留
