水稻纹枯病的发生和发展与水肥管理极为密切。十几年的生产实践和调查统计表明,实行间断灌水和平稳施肥相结合,可使水稻纹枯病危害盛期减少10天左右,病情指数降低18～39％。水稻拔节长穗期正值高温多雨季节,氮肥施用偏多、偏迟,以及长期深水灌溉和排水不良,就会造成稻株生长嫩弱、茎叶茂密,田间郁闭,通风透光不好,株间湿度大,从而导致纹枯病流行。
