Professor Harold Bowie, the director of the Department of Fine Arts at Illinois State University in the United States, did not seem to have changed his artist image from his numerous routine tasks and his sketching teaching work. His distinctive demeanor, Agile thinking, unique and profound views on many issues and his humor, cheerful and Chinese characteristics are still so vividly demonstrated.
