澳大利亚的矿产资源极其丰富,矿产开发已有一百多年的历史,与此同时对中国的发展有着重要的影响,主要是从三个时期叙述开发的过程和影响,第一、淘金热时期对中国产生的影响,通过吸引移民的形式彰显出来的;第二、联邦建立到中澳建交之前,这段时期可以说澳大利亚矿产资源开发成就显著,但是对中国几乎没有影响;第三、中澳建交至今日,在这几十年里中澳合作的领域逐渐拓宽,澳大利亚的矿产资源以两种形式对中国的经济发展产生了极大的影响。
