为继承和发扬中华民族种菊、赏菊、咏菊的历史文化传统,以花为媒美化城市,充分展示重庆各地形象和园林技艺水平,由重庆市园林局、重庆市花卉盆景协会主办的重庆市第十六届菊花艺术展,于2012年10月29日至11月26日在重庆园博园举行。此次菊展展出近1400个品种、80多万株菊花,成为重庆市菊展史上规模最大、档次最高的一届盛会。
