语文课程是工具性和人文性的统一。传统的语文教学只强调语文的工具性,忽视了语文是工具性和人文性的统一。在传统的语文教学中,学生的学习方式基本是:听讲—背诵—练习—再现教师传授的知识。学生完全处于被动接受的状态。教师注重的是如何把知识结论正确地给学生讲清楚,学生只要全神贯注地听并把教师讲的记下来,考试时正确无误地答在卷子上,就算是完成了学习任务,忽视了语文教学应着眼于对学生思想感情熏陶感染的文化功能。
