一、总论紫外线又称黑光,在矿物学中已经占有相当重要的地位。所谓矿物萤光化学,就是专门研究紫外线及其他放射光线与矿物间的关系的一种重要科学。紫外线能使某一些矿物放出它们本身所有的光。这种现象称之为“萤光”作用,这种“冷光”的放射,在勘查与铿定很多种矿物与矿石时,证明获有很大的价值。虽因只有很少几种具经济价值的矿物起萤光作用,致限制了紫外光灯之用途,但是很多事实已经证明,在对某一些矿物与矿石的探矿采矿与选矿等方面,萤光作用
