植物病毒是植物病害的重要病原。长期以来,植物病毒病控制主要靠抗病育种、防治媒介昆虫、组织脱毒及合理栽培管理等措施,这些方法所需的时间较长或成本较高,且效果不理想。近年来,病毒分子生物学知识的积累并结合近代植物基因工程技术又在控制植物病毒病这一重要领域里开辟了新的途径,有的已取得了令人瞩目的成就。
Plant virus is an important pathogen of plant diseases. For a long time, plant virus disease control mainly relies on disease breeding, prevention and control of vector insects, tissue detoxification and reasonable cultivation and management measures. These methods require longer time or high cost, and the results are not satisfactory. In recent years, the accumulation of virus molecular biology knowledge and the combination of modern plant genetic engineering techniques have opened up new avenues in the control of plant virus diseases, and some have made remarkable achievements.
