本品名称未見文献详细介紹,陈存仁中国药学大辞典以“海瘋藤”为蕃椒的古籍別名,無具体記叙。本品虽不見文献记載,但为目前比較繁銷的品种之一,为通經络治風湿之药。根据由福建、浙江毗鄰处平陽一带采得的标本,經上海复旦大学生物系徐炳声教授初步鑑定,本品为胡椒科植物之一种。系攀援性落叶莖藤。莖圆柱形,略具縱棱,長可达数丈。叶阔卵形或卵状長椭圆形,先端尖,全緣,叶面深綠色,背面較淡,有叶柄,对生于微显膨脹的莖节上。开穗狀花,結球形漿果,其蔓藤供药用。
The name of this product is not described in detail in the literature. Chen Cunren’s dictionary of Chinese pharmacy uses “Sea Crazy Vine” as an alias for ancient books of Zaban. There is no specific narrative. Although this product is not listed in the literature, it is one of the more popular varieties currently used for the treatment of rheumatism. According to the specimens collected from the vicinity of Pingyang in Fujian and Zhejiang, it was initially identified by Prof Xu Bingsheng of the Department of Biology of Fudan University in Shanghai. This product is a kind of pepper plant. Department of climbing deciduous stem vines. The stem is cylindrical, slightly longitudinal, and can grow up to several feet in length. Leaves broadly ovoid or ovate-oblong-elliptic, apex pointed, entire, leaf dark green, abaxially pale, petiolate, on stem segments slightly dilated. Spike-like flowers, knotted spherical berries, its vines for medicinal purposes.
