收购夏普一个月之后,郭台铭派出鸿海副总裁戴正吴出任夏普新社长,成为夏普成立百年来第一位非日籍社长。此项任命还需要夏普股东大会的通过,但鸿海已经获得了夏普董事会三分之二的席位,戴的上任几乎没有悬念。虽然之前郭台铭称将最大限度保留夏普管理团队,但并未选择日籍社长,还是委派自己人出马改造夏普。戴正吴是鸿海集团仅次于郭台铭的二把手,精通日语,熟悉日本企业的商业运作,这次收购夏普他在一线参与谈判,在鸿海内部被称为“日本通”。
