乌溪江水电厂一级站——湖南镇水电站的集水井位于水轮机层以下。井深12.5米,井里油污多、湿度大、工作环境恶劣。其水位自动控制装置曾作过多次改进,特别是带电极的水位自动控制装置,其电极长期浸泡在污水中,常常发生电极接头腐蚀断线。1980年4月我厂自动化组试制了一种不和水直接接触的水位自动控制装置。该装置的浮子在透平油中工作,动作可靠。因装置可设在水轮机层,井下只有一根管,所以检修,维护无需下井,改善了工作条件。该装置由带干簧接点浮子信号器、U型管和直管
