Objective: To investigate the effect of different modes of delivery on the neonatal asphyxia in early primipara. Methods: A total of 210 obstetric women from January 2006 to January 2009 in our hospital were selected as the observation subjects and divided into vaginal delivery group (105 cases) and cesarean section group (105 cases) according to different modes of delivery. Effect of Different Modes of Delivery on Asphyxia of Newborns in Two Groups. Results: Asphyxia of cesarean section was 5.7% and that of vaginal delivery was 3.8%. There was no significant difference between the two groups (P> 0.05). CONCLUSIONS: Older maternal overfeeding does not increase the incidence of neonatal asphyxia and should not be used as an indication of caesarean section. Clinical practical work, the elderly women should be strictly controlled cesarean section rate.
