A “poorly grown” coconut plantation produces very low yields that are not enough to cover the costs of cultivation and tending. Improper agricultural practices, inadequate fertilizers and failure to take plant protection all contribute to coconut tree instability, which often leads to low yields. Appropriate fertilization, coupled with regular cultivation and pest control, will undoubtedly improve the plant’s health and vigor, which can make coconut and dried coconut have a substantial increase. This article describes the actual measures to improve low-yield coconut garden. In three important aspects of improving low-yield coconut plantation practices, this article discusses only the cultivation and fertilization methods, and a separate discussion on plant protection.
