病菌(Stagonospora curtisii)主要危害朱顶兰(Amaryllis vittata)叶片及花梗,其次危害鳞茎。病斑呈椭圆形、纺缍形或半圆形。被害部初期呈鲜红色,后期转赭红色,其上密生黑色小点。菌丝生长的适宜温度为15~30℃,最适为25℃;适宜pH位为4~9,最适为6左右;菌丝生长对培养基具有一定的选择性,以PSA培养基最佳;对碳源的利用以蔗糖、葡萄糖最佳,山梨糖最差;对氮源的利用,有机氮及无机氮均能利用,其中以牛肉浸膏和门冬酰胺最佳,尿素最差;分生孢子萌发的适宜温度为15~30℃,最适为25℃,高于35℃或低于8℃时孢子均不能萌发。
