Recently, the Ministry of Agriculture issued a circular to require relevant local agricultural authorities to effectively strengthen the management of the fertilizer market, rectify the market order, and protect the interests of legitimate manufacturers and farmers. The notice pointed out that the fertilizer registration system must be rigorously regulated to further standardize the registration behavior; the test standards should be harmonized, and the field experiment of fertilizers should be effectively conducted; and the strengthening of market management should not promote unregistered products. The circular emphasized that in addition to compound fertilizers, formulated fertilizers, and rice seedlings, acid stimulating agents are authorized by the Ministry of Agriculture as provincial agricultural executives.
