朱仲丽是我国已故老一辈无产阶级革命家王稼祥的夫人。她原来是一位大夫,在延安时就担任毛泽东等中央领导同志的保健医生。解放战争时期曾任哈尔滨第一医院院长。建国后曾到苏联莫斯科医科大学进修班深造,回国后担任北京中苏友谊院院长和中华医学会副秘书长等职,是我国医疗战线上一个活跃人物。十一届三中全会以后,这位人们熟知的“朱大夫”、“朱院长”,忽然意气风发,放下常用的听诊器,走出了医学院室:拿起笔,爬格子,写起文学作品来,成为一位著作颇丰的纪实文学作家。
