信息顾问和社会信息认知是图书馆信息传递过程中的两大要素。信息顾问是图书馆工作者在信息服务中应该充当的社会角色。社会信息认知是指社会群体的信息能力。对这两个要素的认识与实践，将是在新的信息环境下，图书馆工作者的努力方向及社会需求。
Information consultants and social information cognition are two major elements in the process of library information delivery. Information consultants are the social roles that library workers should play in information services. Social information cognition refers to the information ability of social groups. The understanding and practice of these two elements will be the direction of library workers’ efforts and social needs under the new information environment.
