从我国地理教育的发展历程来看,曾尴尬地扮演着“边缘学科”的角色。笔者曾对江苏省徐州市某普通中学1157名学生跟踪调查,结果表明:毕业后选择地理系科或从事相关职业的学生为17人;在生活中能熟练应用地理知识技能的(如看地图、辨方位、观物候等)为20人左右;有686人在毕业2年后对地理知识一无所知。即使在教育发达的南通市4星级某中学,自从地理恢复高考以来,选修地理的人数从未超过85人(同期毕业人数20个班约1000人)。与基础地理
From the perspective of the development of geography education in our country, it has awkwardly played the role of “marginal discipline ”. The author once conducted a survey of 1,157 students in a general secondary school in Xuzhou, Jiangsu Province.
