FIDIC contract conditions are recognized by the international engineering contractor standard format. Through a large number of examples, this paper analyzes the linguistic features of FIDIC contract terms from the perspective of vocabulary, phrase and grammar. From the aspects of professionalism, accuracy, formality and objectivity, this article discusses the specific translation methods and techniques of FIDIC contract conditions. With a view to providing useful references to the work of engineering technicians and translators of science and technology, this will help our country to clarify its rights and obligations when implementing international engineering contracting and construction operations, avoid risks and ensure maximum returns.
