Objective: To investigate the clinical significance of serum CRP and serum lipids in patients with occult coronary heart disease. Methods: Serum levels of CRP, TG, HDL-C and LDL-C were measured by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) in 54 healthy individuals and 54 patients with coronary heart disease. Results: Serum levels of CRP, TG and LDL-C in CHD group were significantly higher than those in healthy control group (P <0.05), and there was a positive correlation between CRP and TG and LDL-C. Serum HDL-C level Significantly lower than that of the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05), and CRP and HDL-C was negatively correlated. Conclusion: CRP is an independent risk factor for cardiovascular disease. CRP is associated with dyslipidemia in patients with occult coronary heart disease. Early detection of CRP in patients with asymptomatic myocardial ischemia is of great importance in the prevention and treatment of coronary heart disease.
