2003年3月初,北京市出现第一例输入性非典型肺炎病例。作为传染病专科医院,北京佑安医院成为了全市第一家收治非典患者的定点医院。从3月9日夜里接到任务到3月11日早晨接收第一例非典患者入院,短短一天,院党委就带领职工建立设备齐全的非典病房,并调集精兵强将组成医疗队,规范了各种消毒隔离措施。在没有任何诊疗经验可以借鉴的前提下,努力摸索救治方法,积累经验,为全市乃至全国的非典确诊和救治工作作出了贡献。这是一个英雄的集体。在这个集体中,院党委和各党支部团结广大党员、群众,克服困难,勇战病魔。
