In 1949, Barr and Bertran found sex chromosomes in female neurones and named Barr’s. Later, some researchers also confirmed sexual chromatin in many somatic nuclei of human and think it is a female of two X sex chromosomes condensed, it is also known as X sex chromatin. In 1954 Daridson and Smith found drumstick-like protrusions on the nucleus pulposus of female leucocytes, also considered to be sex chromatin. However, it is thought that neutrophil drumstick-like protrusions are different from X-type. Some people think that neutrophil drumstick to determine the sex as X sex chromatin reliable. to
