In the last issue of “Environmental Economics,” a cover article entitled “Low-carbon, Silver Labeling”, the readers learned about the role of financial services in developing a low-carbon economy. China’s financial institutions are still in their infancy in developing a low-carbon economy. For the banking industry, it is bound to face some new problems when it touches on the low-carbon economy.
