实验结果表明，壮腰健肾口服液能增加棉油性大鼠精虫数量；去势小鼠及正常大鼠性器官的重量；增加大鼠血浆睾丸酮含量。提高小鼠对热致痛反应的痛阈值及醋酸所致扭体反应出现时间，明显抑制二甲苯性小鼠耳部炎症反应，醋酸性小鼠腹腔伊文思蓝渗出量、大鼠棉球肉芽肿及甲醛性大鼠后足踝关节炎症反应。明显延长小鼠在高温、低温负重情况下的游泳时间及常压缺氧情况下的生存时间，降低大鼠肾上腺维Ｃ含量。最大耐受量实验表明，小鼠一次口服壮腰健肾口服液的最大耐量为临床一次用量的２０００倍。
