《乾隆辨画》是一部新编历史传奇故事剧,作为二度创作的音乐写作当然也要在“新编”二字上下功夫.搞黄梅戏的同仁们大都有一个共识,那就是:搞悲剧容易,搞喜剧难;写女腔容易,写男腔难.而《乾》剧恰恰正是一个以男角为主,女角为辅,正剧内容喜剧体现的一个戏,这就给音乐创作带来了不小的难度,作为曲作者的我,则往受了一次新的考验.艺术创造最忌空谈、一般化、无个性、传统的黄梅戏唱腔虽有腔体、板式之分,但无严格的行当之分,故在传统戏的演出中,往往是一种唱腔用于几个人物,几个角色演唱,也就是大家常见的套腔或叫定腔,(特别是县级剧团).这样容易造成千人一面、千部一腔的无个性的局面.其实传统唱腔的功能是非常鲜明的,而每种唱腔的个性也是非常突出的,它的美学价值也是显而易见的.我在《乾》剧的唱腔设计中充分注意了这一点,就是唱腔尽量与人物性格贴近,使之充分个性化.比如乾隆这个人物自幼研习书画,酷爱丹青墨宝且风流倜傥,洒
