李克农同志长期从事情报工作,为党和人民的事业立下特殊的功勋,1955年被授予上将军衔。40年代,我有幸在将军身边工作,许多往事常索绕脑际,不能忘怀。 1940年,我跟随晋绥边区青年营奔赴革命根据地延安,先后给康生、李克农、罗青长三位首长当通讯员、警卫员十余年,其中跟随李克农的时间最长。 记得在1941年春的一个早晨,我给李老送一怀牛奶,不慎将奶倒在地上,他教育了我几句,我却受不了,哭着跑到附近的树林子里。他急忙叫来秘书罗青长到处找我,后将我领回,明知是我的过失,首长却一句训斥的话也没有,反而和颜悦色地给我解释,向我陪情道歉。当时年仅12岁的我亦觉得几分愧意！由此可见当时自己的幼稚可笑和首长的崇高风
