陆威 1981年生于北京, 三岁开始随父亲学习小提琴, 四岁首次登台演出, 五岁师从中央音乐学院王治隆教授, 三次获北京市少儿小提琴比赛一等奖。 1990年至1999年间,就读于中央音乐学院附小、附中并以优异成绩毕业。 1995年起,师从我国著名小提琴教育家、演奏家林耀基教授。 1993年,获第五届全国小提琴比赛少年组第一名。 1995年,夺得第二届柴科夫斯基国际青少年音乐比赛小提琴第三名。 1997年,赴德国留学。 1999年,开始活跃于国际乐坛。 2004年4月,出任德意志交响乐团 (Deutsches Symphonie Orchester Berlin) 首席一职,成为当今世界量年轻的国际顶级乐团首席。
Lu Wei was born in 1981 in Beijing. At the age of three, he started playing violin with his father and made his debut at the age of four. He was a professor at the Central Conservatory of Music Wang Zhilong at the age of five and won the first prize of the Beijing Children’s Violin Competition three times. From 1990 to 1999, he enrolled in the Central Conservatory of Music with a small, middle school and graduated with honors. Since 1995, he studied under Professor Lin Yaoji, a famous violin educator and performer in our country. In 1993, won the Fifth National Violin Competition Junior first place. In 1995, won the second Tchaikovsky International Youth Music Competition violin third. In 1997, went to Germany to study. In 1999, began to active in the international music scene. In April 2004, he became the chief of the Deutsches Symphonie Orchester Berlin, becoming the youngest international top band musician in the world today.
